Every rule, its source, and who checked it.
Each rule is Ontario law as the software applies it. I check it against its sources and sign its exact text. When a source changes, the tools that use the rule stop until I check it again.

How a rule gets here
- Written as the code applies itEach rule states in plain English exactly what the software does, with its sources and worked examples the tests hold the code to.
- Checked and signedI read the rule against each source and sign a hash of its text, sources and examples. Change any of them and the sign-off no longer applies.
- WatchedA watcher reads e-Laws and Justice Laws for amendments to 168 of the sources. A change marks the rule for re-checking and every answer that relied on it as superseded. Last read October 10, 2026.
The register as data: /api/v1/rules. Over MCP: rules_search and rule_get. Every receipt names the rules it used, and anyone can check one.
Follow the changes: the register’s Atom feed lists each rule as I verify it and each rule sent back for a new check. Agents can subscribe to rule.changed and run.superseded by webhook.
